We are a caring people at Thornliebank and we try and imitate Christ in our love and care of others. We actively seek to offer friendship and care to both members and non-members and our priority is to offer our community emotional support and listening ear. If you would like our minister to call or if you wish to meet him at the church or some other venue, just give him a call. His contact details are on our Directory page of our website.
Our minister is available to offer assistance to those who have lost loves ones and will discuss and conduct funerals for people in the Thornliebank parish area. If you are arranging a funeral of loved one you can either contact our minister directly or the funeral director will contact him on your behalf. We offer post funeral care and can signpost to other pastoral care professionals.
Our minister and elders visit people in an informal way in an effort to get to know people and build relationships, so if you or someone you know would like a visit, please contact us. You may have times when you are struggling with spiritual or emotional concerns and our minister is happy to meet for a chat, either at your home, in the church or at local cafe.
Our minister and elders make every effort to visit people in hospital but they need to be advised who is in what hospital, so please let us know so we can visit. If you want to learn more about our services and the activities that are held in the church, then please visit our About Us page and our What's On page for further details.
